Lovibond® MD 610 Photometer with Bluetooth

The very popular Lovibond® MD 600 series has been further enhanced. The new photometer enjoys the same popular, portable style of the MD 600 and incorporates all the same technology. Additionally, now, the MD Series includes a Bluetooth inferface for connection to smart phones and tablets to connect to iOS® and AndroidTM app for data management and email delivery.

The AquaLX® app, available free of charge, offers the possibility of transferring measurements to smart phones or tablets via Bluetooth. The data management then enables analysis and exort as a CSV file or graph via email. The app is available free of charge for iOS® and Android.

The photometers combine the mobility of a portable photometer with the characteristics of a modern laboratory photometer. The waterproof design makes them ideal for a field instrument, and they have the functionality and features to be used as laboratory photometers.

The units cover all the important parameters for water analysis from Aluminium to Zinc and have over 130 methods pre-programmed. Compatible with Tablet, Liquid and Powder reagents and supplied with vial adaptors for 13mm and 16mm tubes, the photometers give flexibility of choice for many tests. In addition to the pre-programmed methods, up to 10 user defined calibration curves can be programmed if required.

A large graphic display aids analysis by providing on screen method prompts, information regarding test measurement range and reagent type, and automatic countdown timers for accurate reaction periods. The internal memory is capable of storing up to 1000 results with date, time and sample ID. These results can be reviewed at any time, and can be transmitted to Smartphones or Tablets via the Bluetooth® connection.

With 6 LED light sources, the photometers can measure at peak absorbances for many different methods, ensuring result accuracy and reliability for many applications.
