The C-1002 Round Filming Amine Comparator is a component of K-1006 Filming Amine CHEMets® Test Kit (Rose Bengal) and is designed to be compared against the color formed in R-1006 Filming Amines CHEMets® Refill (Rose Bengal) ampoules.

The kit's range is applicable for routine measurement of residual filming amines in boiler feedwater. The comparator contains a set of color standards (sealed ampoules) containing dye mixtures that are formulated to match the colors produced by the test ampoules. The color standards are pink in color and cover a range of 2-6 ppm octadecylamine (ODA).
