The K-1510 CHEMets Ammonia Test Kit (Nesslerization) comes in a plastic case and contains everything needed to perform 30 tests: CHEMets® Refill, Round and Flat Comparators, Stabilizer Solution, 25 mL sample cup, and instructions. The Direct Nesslerization method utilized by this kit is particularly useful for drinking water, clean surface water, nitrified wastewater effulent, and seawater/saltwater applications.

*Seawater analysis requires A-1501 Stabilizer Solution (sold separately).

Shelf life: Although the Nessler reagent is stable, its high alkali content attacks the glass ampoule. The resulting precipitate interferes with color comparison. The refill has a 5-month shelf life when stored in the dark and at room temperature. This shelf life can be extended by 18 months if the refill is refrigerated.

Notice: As of 7/8/2024 the comparator in this kit has been updated to include multiple ranges. Please reference your instructions to ensure you are using the correct scale.
